Carers Victoria is a reputable community based organisation that is passionate about leading change and action.  We are the state-wide voice for family carers, representing and providing support to carers in the community.

We are seeking an energetic and experienced marketing professional to assist with the promotion of our Education and Training Program, and our Carer Counselling and Advisory Service.

You will have a background in marketing, PR, or communications, with experience in the development and implementation of marketing plans. Working within the Communications Team you will coordinate promotional activities that will contribute to the organisation in meeting its targets and objectives.

You will have well-developed written and oral communication ability, excellent negotiation skills and demonstrated project management experience.

Using your research skills together with your advanced level administrative skills, you will resource and support the work of the Policy Team.  This newly created role requires active participation in team discussions, assisting with internal team operations and, writing communication documents for newsletters, other teams and key partner organisations.  General administrative tasks, data entry and assisting team members with the layout and formatting of key documents and collation of occasional surveys are also part of the role.

You will be known for your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as your ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

This highly regarded state-wide Service assesses and responds to the needs of carers through information, support, advocacy and referral to relevant services, including the Carer Counselling Program. The Carer Counselling Program is an innovative program which provides counselling through a short term model which combines In-house and Contract Counsellors.
